Kids Fitness Programs Promote Physical Activity During the Winter

It can be a challenge to get your children to put down the video games and go outside to play even when the weather is perfect. Now that winter is here, it is even more challenging to motivate them to stay active. Kids ‘N Shape offers kids fitness programs, a fun, affordable solution to this common problem. Our kids fitness programs give your children and their friends the opportunity to burn off pent-up energy, have fun and get the exercise they need all at the same time.

Kids Fitness Program Options

Open playtime is a two-hour session where kids can bounce on our inflatables, drive our scooters and bumper cars, throw footballs, kick a soccer ball, and jump around in our foam ball pit. This is just a sample of the active fun that is awaiting them. Kids take the lead in this informal environment and are free to play with anything that suits them. Our bounce house and slides are particular favorites.

We also offer an interactive fitness session. The space is set up to allow participation in several group sports, including full court basketball, soccer, and air hockey. Kids ‘N Shape further encourages active play by setting up a Xbox Kinect. You do not have to worry that your children will stay glued to a video game since this one requires constant movement to play. Guests consistently tell us that bowling and boxing are among their favorite Xbox Kinect games.

Kids Fitness Program Times

Kids ‘N Shape maintains an online open session calendar showing all available times for open play in our Queens and Staten Island locations. We have open play sessions available at various times throughout the day. You can unwind knowing that your child is getting exercise in an environment that is safe, clean, and supervised by our staff. No appointment is necessary although open play sessions are limited to the first 50 children who arrive. Physical education instruction is available upon request.
